all gap years do not look the same

Most students engage in a variety of experiences during their gap year from travel to career exploration to volunteer experiences. We recommend you begin your gap year with structure and support, then transition to experiences that allow you to exercise greater independence.

By structuring your gap year in this way, you can develop new skills and actually get to use those skills during your gap year.
